NEET UG 2024: Supreme Court to examine paper leak petition, Results on Schedule

NEET UG 2024 Result Updates: The Supreme Court of India on Friday declined the PIL to grant a stay on the NEET UG 2024 result and stated that the result for the exam will be released on the previously mentioned dates.

The news came to light after the conduct of the NEET UG 2024 examination on 5 May, when a number of aspirants claimed that the question paper was leaked before the conduct of the exam and filed a PIL to re-conduct the examination.

The Supreme Court then agreed to look into the paper leak PILs of the aspirants but rejected the requests to conduct a fresh examination for the NEET UG 2024 stating that it would impact the future of 23 lakh aspirants who appeared for the examination. 

The Supreme Court has mentioned that the result for the NEET UG 2024 examination will be released on the dates set by the NTA, so it is scheduled to be released on 14 June 2024 on its official website @exams.nta.ac.in/NEET

A bench consisting of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Misra stated that they will proceed to serve a notice to the Central government regarding the NEET UG 2024 paper leaks claims and asked for its response after the summer break.
