What is NEET UG 2024?

NEET UG is a national level medical entrance examination conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. 

After qualifying for the NEET UG entrance test, candidates will be eligible for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, Ayush, and nursing programs in the country.

Documents Required for NEET UG 2024 Application

1. Aadhar Card or any ID Proof

• One of the primary identity documents required for the NEET UG application is the Aadhar card. It serves as proof of identity, age, and address proof. Ensure your Aadhar card details are accurate and match the information you provide on your application form.
• The size of address proof of present address and permanent address should be between 50 kb
  to 300 kb

2. Class 10 Certificate

Candidates must submit their Class 10 or equivalent examination certificate as proof of their date of birth. The certificate should include your name, date of birth, and other relevant details. This will be used at the time of form filling.

3. Class 12 Certificate or Marksheet

The Class 12 certificate is an important educational document, as it serves as proof of your academic qualifications. Make sure the information on this certificate matches the details provided in your NEET UG application. This document will be required for filling in educational details and marks obtained in class 12th.

4. Passport & Postcard Size Photograph

Candidates are required to upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background during the online application process. It’s important to adhere to the specified dimensions and format for the photograph to avoid any technical issues.

Passport Image Dimensions & Size – 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the size should be – 10 Kb to 200 Kb in JPG format

Postcard Image Dimensions & Size – 4 x 6 inches, the size should be – 10 Kb to 200 Kb in JPG format

Candidates must make sure the photograph should be latest with 80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on a white background.

5. Signature

• A clear and legible scanned copy of your signature is also required. Like the photograph, the signature should meet the specified dimensions and format as mentioned in the application guidelines.
• The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG format.

6. Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions

• A scanned image of left and right hand fingers & thumb impressions will be required.
• The size of scanned and Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions should be between 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG format.

7. Category Certificate (if applicable)

• For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), a category certificate is essential. This document must be issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format and should be valid and up to date.
• The scanned category certificate should be in pdf format between 50 to 300 kb.

8. PwDB Certificate (if applicable)

• Applicants with disabilities must provide a PwDB certificate issued by a government medical board. The certificate should clearly state the type and extent of disability.
• The size of the scanned PwDB certificate should be between 50 to 300 kb.

9. EWS Certificate (if applicable)

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates should have a valid EWS certificate issued by a competent authority as per the government guidelines.
• The size of the scanned copy EWS certificate should be between 50 to 300 kb.

10. Domicile Certificate

• Candidates applying under the state quota are typically required to furnish a domicile certificate to establish their eligibility for the state’s reserved seats. The format and validity of this certificate vary by state.
