NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria: The NEET PG 2024 session registration has been started and you want to apply for the examination which is scheduled to be held on 23 June 2024. If so, then you are required to know about its eligibility criteria to become eligible for the exam.

NEET PG eligibility criteria contain all the eligibility requirements that a candidate needs to fulfill to become eligible for the exam.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024

For Indian Candidates

1) Candidate must have passed their graduation with a minimum of 50% of marks in their main subjects.

2) Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or an MBBS pass certificate recognized by the NMC and the Indian Medical Council (IMC) are eligible to apply for the NEET PG 2024 exam.

3) Candidates possessing a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC or the state medical council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 15 August 2024 are eligible to apply for the exam.

4) A candidate must have registered with the NMC is necessary and its documentary proof should be provided by the candidates on the day of examination and at the time of counselling/admission.

For Foreign Candidates

1) The basic medical qualification of the foreign candidates applying for the NEET PG 2024 examination is equivalent to MBBS and should be recognized by the National Medical Commission in order to become eligible.

2) Foreign candidates who wish to appear for the NEET PG 2024 exam are required to have security clearance as per the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Govt. of India before applying for the examination as the security clearance is required to be submitted while applying for NEET PG 2024 exam.

3). Candidates are required to carry their FMGE passing certificate issued by the NBE.

It is to be noted that the candidates who are found to be ineligible at any stage of the NEET PG 2024 examination procedure will not be permitted to appear in the examination or the counselling.

Whereas, if any ineligible candidate appears for the NEET PG 2024 exam and successfully passes the exam, then the results of such candidate will get cancelled by the authority.
