Tip 1: Understand & Focus on the Syllabus

The first tip to crack the board exam is to understand solely the syllabus. Try to understand the syllabus first & start the preparation accordingly. Students should cover the entire Class 12th Syllabus prior to the commencement of the examination.

A clear understanding of the syllabus can significantly reduce stress. The syllabus can assist the students regarding the topics from which the questions can be asked. This year, the CBSE 12th Class syllabus has been reduced. Students should cover the new syllabus.

Tip 2: Refer to the NCERT Books

For the best preparation, refer to the NCERT Books. As we all know, the CBSE 12th Question Paper is framed from the NCERT Books only. Along with the NCERT, you can also assist with other reference books for practising numerical, problems, etc.

Tip 8: Take Proper Sleep & Diet

‘A healthy mind lives in a healthy body’. As per the common saying, you should keep yourself fit & fine. It is mandatory for all the students to take a proper nap as well as a balanced diet.

Take a proper sleep for at least 6 to 8 hours a day. Do not study for long hours instead take short breaks to refresh. Avoid any kind of stress & fear as it can affect the concentration level.

Tip 9: Avoid Distraction: Say NO to Social Media

Don’t get distracted while preparing for the CBSE Board Examinations. Avoid listening to music or surfing the internet during your study. When it comes to studying for board exams, it’s required to switch off the phone & concentrate on your studies. Social Media can be distracting. You must take breaks while studying, but social media isn’t the way to do the same. Instead, take a break for a walk, read a book, etc.

Tip 10: Revision

After covering the entire syllabus, it’s time to revise the same. Revision is the key to scoring high marks. Only studying is not enough, revise whatever you have learnt so far. The revision also helps in remembering the topics for a longer duration.

  • Mathematics

Refer to the NCERT Class 12 Maths Syllabus as the questions are framed mainly from the syllabus. Practice the previous year’s sample papers available on the CBSE website. Attempt long answer questions to score good marks during the exam. Focus on the important & more weightage topics.

  • Physics

Make a list of formulae, experiments & derivations given in the syllabus. Revise concepts regularly & solve numerical. Solve the sample papers to understand the exam pattern & type of question asked. Prepare according to the weightage of each topic mentioned in the syllabus.

  • Chemistry

Note the important formulas & revise them daily. Practice the CBSE 12th Sample Paper to know the exam pattern. In organic chemistry, the questions are framed from the Conversion & naming reactions, Distinction Test & Mechanism of reaction. Most of the questions are asked from Metallurgy.

  • Biology
