A student of CBSE class 12th from Noida Commits suicide after a few hours of taking the English board exam on Thursday 22 Feb 2024. As per the police statement, he took the step by jumping from the 22nd floor of a building at a group housing society in Noida Extension.

According to the police, the student is identified as 19 years old and failed the board exam last year as well. A police official shared information from the news agency PTI stating, “The police team rushed to the site and forensic experts were also sent there.”

“The student’s death at the mahagun mywoods society was reported to the officers of the local Bisrakh police station at approximately 4:20 PM today.

Police Statement On This Incident

Police said that more legal actions were being taken. The student’s parents were also present, and they informed the authorities that their son had left to take the English Core exam for Class 12th on Thursday and had returned home.

When he got home, he went to the building’s 22nd-floor terrace to sit. The family also told the police that he failed the Class 12 test last year as well.
