CBSE Launches Offline Parenting Program to Support NEP 2020 Goals

CBSE Parenting Calendar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has announced an offline orientation workshop under its recently introduced Parenting Calendar 2025-26.

This workshop will focus on improving school and parent collaboration for the holistic development of students. The title of the workshop is “Parenting for Student Wellness and Growth”.

This initiative reflects CBSE’s focus on fostering a supportive ecosystem for students by involving parents more actively in their growth journey. It follows a flexible framework promoting parental engagement in academics, emotional well-being, and life skills through age-appropriate activities and structured interactions.

CBSE Parenting Program: When, Where, Who Can Attend

The CBSE Parenting Program is going to be held in offline mode. This workshop, “Parenting for Student Wellness and Growth,” is open to Principals, Vice-Principals, Counselors, and Wellness Teachers of CBSE-affiliated schools in the Patna region.

On 26th July 2025 at D.A.V. Public School, BSEB Patna, BSEB Colony, New Punaichak, Patna, Bihar – 800023, the workshop will be conducted.

The workshop will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue till 2:00 PM. All the participants are advised to arrive by 9:30 AM.

CBSE Parenting Calendar 2025-26 Notice

The workshop will cover:

• Child psychology and emotional development
• Building effective communication between parents and schools
• Balancing discipline with empathy
• Creating a safe and inclusive school environment

Official notice reads that “Participation will be limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation emails will be sent to the selected participants. Your participation will go a long way in enhancing the well-being and future readiness of our students. Travel and accommodation expenses (TA/DA) will be borne by the participants themselves.“
