CLAT 2023: GNLU Opens Campus in Silvassa for BA LLB, LLM Courses; December 17 Last Day to Update Preferences

CLAT 2023: A new campus in Silvassa has been established by the Gujrat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar, to provide BA, LLB, and LLM programmes. The university will provide 33 seats for LLM programmes and 66 seats for BA LLB programmes at its Silvassa centre.

Thus, by December 17, 2022, applicants for admission to GNLU  Gandhinagar can update their NLU preferences and choose the campus.

The institution already offers 172 seats for undergraduate study in the BA LLB, B.Com LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB, and BSW LLB programmes, as well as 57 LLM seats for postgraduate study on its main campus.

After the addition of 66 BA LLB and 33 LLM seats, the university will have a total of 238 seats for UG programmes and 90 seats for the one-year LLM programme.

Reserved Seats for Gujarat Domicile Holders

On its main campus, the university reserves 25% of seats for candidates from Gujrat, regardless of category (with the exception of EWS). Seats at  Silvassa campus can also be reserved in a similar way.

25% of seats in all categories are reserved for citizens of the Union Territories (UT) of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

The CLAT 2023 offline exam will take place on December 18, 2022, from 2pm to 4 p.m.

CLAT 2023 admit card has been released for the registered candidates. Candidates can visit the Consortium of NLUs official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in to download the CLAT 2023 admit card.

Candidates must enter their allotted login information, such as their mobile number and password in the registration portal online, in order to download their CLAT 2023 admit card.

The CLAT 2023 results will be accepted by more than 60 law colleges countrywide and 22 National Law Universities (NLUs).

Candidates should get in touch with the exam authorities immediately if their CLAT 2023 admit card contains any errors so that the necessary corrections can be made before exam.
