CLAT 2024 exam today, don’t miss these important exam day guidelines

CLAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) is going to conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 exam today 3 December 2023, as per the official schedule. 

Candidates who have not yet downloaded the CLAT 2024 admit card are advised to download it in a priority basis by 3 December 2023 through the official website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in 

As the examination is near, applicants must know about the exam day guidelines for a successful outcome on the exam day, in this article, we will provide you with the CLAT 2024 exam day guidelines for your ease. 

The CLAT 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode or pen-paper mode and will consist of 120 questions, unlike the previous year. Aspirants will have 2 hours to complete the examination.

Whereas test-takers who have a benchmark disability will be provided with an extra 40 minutes to complete the CLAT 2024 examination as mentioned in the guidelines for PwD aspirants set by the authority.  

CLAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The CLAT 2024 exam day instructions are somehow the same as the previous year’s guidelines. Candidates who are appearing for the CLAT 2024 examination can check the exam day guidelines in the pointers mentioned below:

• Aspirants must bring their CLAT 2024 admit card and a government-approved ID for verification purposes to the exam center. 
• Candidates who do not have an admit card or government-approved ID will not be allowed to sit for the examination
• If any student reports to an exam centre other than the one allotted to them, the student will be disqualified from the examination.
• Aspirants must reach the exam center one hour before the exam starts for document verification.
• If any candidates reach the exam center late, he/she will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Electronic devices and eatables are not allowed in the exam hall.
• If a candidate needs to use a scribe, they must provide an SAP certificate to the invigilator.
• Test-takers must sign in their admit card in the presence of the invigilator.
• If any student is found disobeying any rules and regulations in the exam hall, serious actions will be taken against them.
• Until the exam is over, candidates are not permitted to leave the exam room.
