The most notable change is the reduction in the number of questions. Instead of the previous 150 questions, the CLAT 2024 exam will now have 120 multiple-choice questions.
Syllabus and Format for CLAT 2024
Even with the reduction in the number of questions, the overall syllabus and format of CLAT 2024 remain largely unchanged.
The subjects for the exam remain the same: English, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, including Current Affairs.
The questions will be distributed across the existing five sections as before. The examination will be conducted offline (Pen-paper based) and will have a duration of 2 hours.
The medium of the question paper will be English, and for each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark. However, it is essential to note that there is a negative marking, and for each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
