CTET Director Asks Boards Exam Administrators to Avoid Holding Exams During CTET Dates to Avoid Clash, Know What Offical Notice States

CTET and Exams to be Held on Different Dates: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) director has asked that no public exams be held between January 9 and February 7, 2023, in order to avoid a clash with CTET 2022.

 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started conducting CTET 2022 from December 28, 2022 to February 7, 2023.

The director of CTET, J K Yadav, sent letters to state boards, the Association of Indian Universities, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Naovdaya Vidyalaya Samiti, the Central Tibetan Schools Administration, the Staff Selection Commission, the Railway Board, the National Testing Agency, and all state SSCs.

CTET Exam Dates Decided By CBSE

The director stated in the official notification that CBSE has been given the authority by the ministry of education to conduct the CTET exam. As a result, the dates for the exam have been set by CBSE. There will be 211 cities nationwide where the test will be administered.

The statement stated, “Therefore, it is kindly requested to avoid the aforesaid dates for conducting any public examination so that the examination date does not clash and to avoid any trouble and loss to the candidates to the aforesaid examination may be avoided.”

This year, 32.45 lakh people registered for the CTET 2022 exam.

The CTET 2022 hall ticket can be downloaded from the official website, ctet.nic.in, by candidates who registered for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test by entering their registration ID, date of birth, and password.

Candidates are suggested to visit the CTET and CBSE official website frequently to get latest updates about the exams and dates.
