CUET PG 2024 Structure of Question Papers and Marking Scheme Explained Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the CUET PG 2024 session subject-wise schedule and exam city information slip, candidates should now gear up their preparation and mark the calendar with CUET PG 2024 exam dates.

But before you start the preparation it is very necessary to go through the CUET PG 2024 syllabus and must know the question paper structure and marking scheme of the exam. 

These schemes will help aspirants gain knowledge about the CUET PG 2024 examination which will be very useful for them while preparing for the exam. 

The CUET PG 2024 examinations are scheduled to be conducted from 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024. The exam will be held in three shifts in CBT (computer-based test) mode.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Paper Pattern

The first step before starting your CUET PG 2024 exam preparation is knowing the exam pattern. Having a clear knowledge of your exam paper pattern will help you to prepare wisely. 

Medium of Paper

The medium of the CUET PG 2024 question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except for languages paper, M. Tech Higher Sciences, and Acharya papers (Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System). 

Structure of Paper

• There would be no General Test with each paper. The candidate can choose a General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during the CUET PG 2024 registration. 

• Each subject’s question paper will have 75 questions and the duration of each exam will be 105 minutes. The CUET PG 2024 examination will be conducted in three shifts. 

• M.Tech/Higher Science and linguistic paper will be in the English language whereas all the other language exams will be held in the authorized language only. 

• Acharya papers will be conducted in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan. Whereas, the Humanities, Science, and common paper will be bilingual.

CUET PG 2024 Marking Scheme

• Each question carries 4 marks.
• +4 will be awarded for each correct answer and -1 for wrong answer. 
• No marks will be deducted or awarded for unattempted/unanswered questions. 

To answer the question candidates will have to choose one option. However, after the challenges are accepted in the provisional answer key, if there are multiple correct options found only the correct one uploaded on the final answer key will be the final answer.

In case, if a question is dropped due to technical errors full marks will be awarded to the candidates.
