CUET UG 2024: No Changes in the Exam Dates due to Elections, confirms UGC Chairman

CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates: Due to an increase in the student’s queries about the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 examination dates, the chairman of UGC Mr. Jagadesh Kumar Mamidala on Sunday declared that there will be no changes in the exam dates of CUET UG 2024.

The chairman of UGC further stated that the CUET UG 2024 examination will be held on the same dates which was previously declared by the NTA i.e. between 15 May 2024, to 31 May 2024.

Further, he added that two dates of the CUET UG 2024 examination overlap the dates that were reserved for the Lok Sabha elections.

Will the CUET UG 2024 exam be held between 15 to 31 May 2024?

After the release of the Lok Sabha election dates by the Election Commission of India (ECI), it has been discovered that 2 dates of the CUET UG 2024 examination are clashing with the election dates, so in this, Mr. Jagadesh Kumar Mamidala stated that the CUET UG exam 2024 will be held as decided earlier.

He further added that during the period of CUET UG 2024, two exam dates overlap with the election dates i.e. 20 May 2024 and 25 May 2024.

“After the last date for filling out CUET UG 2024 applications on March 26, 2024, we will know the number of students registered for the exam and their geographical distribution. Based on this data and the election dates, NTA will announce the date sheet for CUET-UG 2024 later on its official website.
