Official Statement

Reena Gupta, a Delhi government advisor, said that the Mathematics Winter Camp will be a chance to work through problems that students have encountered throughout the academic year and that students in Class 9 at the city government-run schools will receive additional learning support to strengthen the fundamental ideas.

As a small-scale experimental project, the camp, according to the Delhi government advisor, was started.

According to Delhi government advisor Gupta, “Students have tremendous potential, and programmes like the “Mathematics Winter camp” will foster an environment where mathematics phobias can be overcome, motivate students to work hard for their annual exams, and provide an opportunity to close learning gaps that have been present throughout the academic year.

The camp will review subjects including number systems, quadrilaterals, menstruation, and chapters from the syllabus that continue to be a weak link while also taking into account the contextual needs of the kids.

In order to improve computation, integers, unit conversion, divisibility, simplification, and formula review, teachers will also perform exercises relating to the subject and mathematical riddles.
