Delhi University UG, PG Admissions: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results will be the only factor considered for admissions beginning with the academic year 2023–24, the executive council of the University of Delhi decided at a meeting on December 8, 2022.

According to this decision, the admissions for both undergraduate and graduate programmes, including those for candidates who qualify for the reserved and minority quotas, will be handled centrally on the basis of CUET scores.

The resolution was announced by the DU authority via a notification.on Delhi University’s official website at admission.uod.ac.in on December 30, 2022.

For admission to its unreserved seats in UG courses, St. Stephen’s granted an 85% weightage to the CUET and a 15% weightage to the college interview. From May 21 to May 31, 2023, the CUET UG test will be given.

Prior to this announcement, UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar stated that the CUET 2023 application process would begin in the first week of February 2023.

On the other side, CUET PG 2023, which is for admission to postgraduate programmes in central institutions, will run from June 1 to June 10, 2023.

To Check the notice for Delhi University UG and PG admission through CUET in the upcoming year, follow the steps below-

  • Go to the official website at admission.uod.ac.in
  • You will enter the homepage of the website.
  • Visit the “ADMISSION-2022-2023” section.
  • Click on the “Notification for CUET 2023-24” link.
  • The details regarding DU Admission will appear on the screen.
  • Check the notice and download it for further use.

The college was mandated by the Supreme Court to adhere to the DU admission policy of basing admission solely on CUET scores and excluding interviews.

The university’s academic and executive councils were not given permission by the college to conduct interviews for all categories, which was against DU admissions policy.
