GATE 2023 Guidelines for PwD Candidates Announced: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has issued guidelines for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwD) candidates registered for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023).

The instructions for PwD Candidates are available on the GATE official website at gate.iitk.ac.in for all applicants who fall into the same category and will be taking the exam.

According to the IIT Kanpur’s criteria, individuals with disabilities of any kind who meet the benchmark of not less than 40% impairment would be given the opportunity to work as a scribe, reader, or lab assistant.

After submitting a copy of their Dyslexic condition certificate, candidates with dyslexia will be given a scribe.

The gratitude Aptitude Test (GATE), is a national exam. Every year, on a rotating basis, it is jointly organized by seven IITs and IISC Bangalore. IIT Kanpur will be in charge of organizing it this year. Candidates who pass this exam can enroll in a variety of Master’s level courses in engineering, technology, architecture, etc.
