GATE 2024 Cut Off Released: The Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru) has released the GATE 2024 cutoff marks along with the result on 16 March 2024 in online mode on the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in

Cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate needs to get to clear the exam. Candidates should note that the cut-off depends on various factors such as the number of candidates who appeared in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam & the total number of seats available in each Institution.

For the GATE exam, IISc has released a separate category wise cut off for each paper for the exam that was held on as held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

Those who will obtain passing marks as per the category they belong to will be eligible to get admission to the M.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes of the GATE 2024.

It should be noted by candidates that the GATE qualifying cutoff and GATE admission cutoff are different. The qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark that candidates need to clear the exam and for the GATE exam, the qualifying cutoff marks are different for all 30 subjects.

According to the various candidate categories, the GATE qualifying cut-off for IIT and NIT will also change. The GATE qualifying cutoff is released by the conducting institute along with the declaration of the result.

Whereas the admission cutoff of GATE 2024 is released by the institute at the time of admission in which admission is desired.
