This year, NTA has also announced that students have to score 75% marks in their board exams for admission to engineering colleges through JEE Main 2023.

During an event, MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced that the state government will bear the fees of medical college, engineering college, IIT & law college.

“I already provide laptops to students who obtained more than 75% in their 12th Standard Exams. Now, I also manage the fees of medical college, engineering college, IIT & law college”, said the CM.

Recently, the NTA introduced 5 major changes for the JEE Main Admission 2023. According to one of these changes, candidates must have to score 75% in 10+2 from any recognized board.

“Admissions to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs & CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition that the candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in Class 12th held by the respective boards” as per JEE Main 2023 Officials.

Also, CM has announced scholarships for students securing more than 70% marks in 10th & 12th Board Examinations.

Meanwhile, students have demanded the January session be postponed as dates clash with the board exams. As per the schedule, the JEE Main 2023 Examination for Session 1 will be conducted on 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st January, 2023.

These released dates have left students & teachers in worry as the board examination is also scheduled for January.
