Indian Army Overhauls ‘Agniveer’ Recruitment Process: Get Details about the New Exam System

Agniveer Recruitment Process: In 2022, the Indian Army began using the Angiveer programme to recruit new soldiers. The Agniveer recruitment programme initially followed the same procedure as was previously used to select soldiers.

The recruitment procedure for “Agniveers” has been updated by the Indian Army. The candidates will first need to take an entrance exam. Later on, medical and physical exams will be taken.

In the second week of February, an announcement regarding the new hiring process will be made.

Prior to now, the Army conducted a physical and medical examination, and then the initial written examination was only offered to candidates after they had passed the first two rounds.

The recruiting exam will be given online, and students will be assigned to the appropriate examination center for the written exam.

Candidates will get 60 minutes (1 hour) to complete the written exam.

Following the exam, a merit list will be made public, after which the candidates will be contacted for a physical and medical exam.

Physical testing is part of the second round of the examination, while the medical is part of the third and final round. The army recruited 40,000 Angiver last year, and they are now being trained.

A permanent commission will be granted to about 10,000 Agniveers after four years. 40,000 Angiver volunteers will be recruited once again this year.
