IIT JAM 2024 Mock Test Available: The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT) has made available the mock test for the Joint Admission Test for Mastery (JAM) 2024 on their official website @jam.iitm.ac.in 

Candidates who are going to take the JAM session 2024 exam can take the mock test to improve their exam preparation.

The JAM 2024 mock test window provides candidates with all seven subject examination test papers named biotechnology, chemistry, economics, geology, mathematics, mathematical statistics, and physics. 

The mock test window for JAM 2024 includes the syllabus and question papers from the previous year for all seven subjects. Participants do not need to log in to take part in the mock test.

As per the IIT JAM 2024 information brochure, the JAM 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 11 February 2024.

Steps To Take JAM 2024 Mock Test

Applicants must follow the steps mentioned below to participate in the JAM 2024 mock test:

• Go to the official website of IIT, jam.iitm.ac.in 
• Click on the “JAM 2024 Mock Test Link” available on the home page.
• Click on the “Mock Test” under any subject you wish to take the test for.
• On the page open click on the “Sign In” button without entering any credentials.
• An instructions page will open on the screen, click on the “Next” tab select the agreement box, and tap on the “I am ready to begin” box. 
• The JAM 2024 mock test will be displayed on your device.

JAM Mock Test Section-wise Details

There are three sections in the JAM 2024 mock: sections A, B, and C and all sections are compulsory to attend and questions in each section will be different.

Test-takers will have a time limit of 3 hours to complete each of the seven mock test papers for JAM 2024. The medium of the question paper in the mock test will only be in English. 

Section A of the JAM 2024 mock test will have 30 MCQs, including 10 one-mark questions and 20 two-mark questions. Each MCQ will contain four options, from which candidates must select one.

Section B consists of ten Multiple-Selection Questions (MSQs). Every Multiple Choice Question (MSQ) has two marks and one or more correct answers out of four possible answers. You only get full credit if you pick all the right answers.

Section C contains 20 NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions, 10 of which are one-mark and 10 of which are two-mark. Candidates need to enter a signed real number using the virtual keypad to answer the question. No options will be provided for NAT questions.

Questions not attempted will result in zero marks. In MCQ, negative marking will be done for every wrong answer and no negative marking will be included in sections B and C.
