Statement Of Member of Parliament

The member of parliament stated in the zero-hour intervention that “We cannot let technological glitches mar the future of aspirant Indians who want to enter the institutions of higher education.

According to the MP, a number of students were unable to take the JEE Main 2022 exam due to the exam location being changed at the last minute without previous notice via SMS or email. This is in addition to the technical issues with the exam.

The Member of Parliament argued in the letter that the JEE Main 2022 sessions that were held in June and July of this year faced a number of technical problems, including the computer system shutting down repeatedly, incomplete questions, a frozen screen for a long period of time, questions taking too long to load, and others.

Because of this, the scores and percentiles of a few applicants significantly dropped. Meanwhile, a number of candidates were unable to take the JEE Main 2022 entrance exam due to last-minute center adjustments.

Inconsistencies in the response sheets and mistakes in the JEE Main 2022 result were additional issues that students encountered after the exam.
