JEE Main 2023 Exam 24th January Shift 1 Analysis – The JEE Main 2023 Exam is concluded today, 24th January, 2023 for Shift 1. Candidates who have participated in the 1st shift should know the paper analysis.

This year, the JEE Main 2023 Question Papers included two sections – Section A & Section B, said one of the students who participated in the exam today. The first shift was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm.

As per reports, the exam today for Shift 1 started with a 15 minutes delay, therefore, the candidates were provided a little additional time to complete their papers.

Now, the exam will be held on 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st January & 1st February, 2023, as per the JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates.

JEE Main 2023 Exam: Shift 1 Analysis

Go through the exam analysis incl. Student’s reactions over the JEE Main 2023 Shift 1 –

  • There were two sections in JEE Main 2023 Paper 1. Section A consisted of three subjects – Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics. There were 60 questions in Section A while 10 questions in Section B.
  • The Mathematics section of the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 had many questions on integration topics. There was only a question on probability.
  • The Chemistry section included many questions from the Organic Chemistry.
  • However, the Physics section contained questions from almost all chapters. Most of the questions were framed from the Electronics & Thermodynamics topics incl. Capacitors, Resistance, etc.
  • Some students said that JEE Main Maths questions were lengthy & difficult as compared to the Physics & Chemistry.
  • According to the candidate’s reaction who appeared for the exam, the overall exam was of easy level.

Shift 2 of the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Exam will commence at 3:00 pm & end at 6:00 pm. Candidates are advised to follow all the guidelines released by the NTA.

Prior to the exam, NTA published an important notice about the duplication of JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Application Form.

As per NTA, some students have filled out multiple application forms & their candidature has been kept on hold. They are not supposed to appear for the 24th & 25th Examinations.
