As per the complaint received from Mr. Navneet Kumar, the JEE Main 2023 dates were announced one month before the final session 1. In 2020, NTA announced the date of the Session 1 four months prior to the exam, read the NCPCR Letter.

The letter further mentioned that the notice period of one month is not sufficient for the JEE Main 2023 aspirants. “75% eligibility criteria is unfair for candidates who are dropouts” further added by NCPCR.

The JEE Main 2023 Examination for Session 1 will be conducted on 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st January, 2023 whereas the CBSE Class 12th Board Examination is expected to be held from 15th February, 2023.

How to Register for JEE Main 2023 Exam

Refer to the following pointers to register for the JEE Main 2023 Exam –

  • Login to the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • You will enter the homepage of this site.
  • Go through the “Candidate Activity” section available on the homepage.
  • Under the same section, press the link “JEE(Main) 2023 Session 1 Application” given.
  • First, click on the “New Registration” tab & register yourself to create a new user account.
  • After completing the new registration process, log in using the generated credentials to proceed further.
  • Now, fill up the “JEE Main 2023 Application Form” by entering the required details.
  • Upload the necessary documents (as per the specified format) & pay the registration fee.
  • Take a printout of the fee receipt page.
  • Once done, click the “Submit” button.
  • Download the page & keep a copy of the same page for further use.
