JEE Main 2023 January session starts today – The JEE Main 2023 January Session Exam starts today, 24th January with BE and BTech paper exams by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

For the first day, the BE/B.Tech (Paper 1) is being held in two shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm & 3 pm to 6 pm respectively. Prior to the exam, NTA has published an important notice about the duplication of JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Application Form.

As per NTA, some students have filled multiple application forms & their candidature have been kept on hold. They are not supposed to appear for the 24th & 25th Examination.

As per the JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates, the exam will be held on 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st January & 1st February, 2023. 

JEE Main 2023 Admit Card is now available to access on the official website. Candidates are required to print it in colour on A4 Paper.

For preparation, candidates should check the JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern as well as the JEE Main 2023 Syllabus.

We have mentioned below the Dress Code & some guidelines for the examination day.

JEE Main 2023 January Session: Dress Code

Take a look at the following dress code needed for the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Exam –

  • Candidates should wear comfortable & light clothes keeping in mind their comfort.
  • Applicants are not allowed to wear a cap/muffler or any item over their head.
  • Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery or ornament.
  • Any cloth containing metallic will lead to problems so it should be neglected.
  • Do not wear rings, bracelets, goggles, etc.

JEE Main 2023 January Session: Follow the Instructions

  • It is mandatory to bring the JEE Main 2023 Admit Card while appearing for the examination. Along with the Admit card, carry 1 photo ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID) for verification.
  • Reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the reporting time of the examination.
  • Follow the Covid-19 Guidelines by wearing a face mask & hand gloves. Also, carry personal hand sanitiser and a transparent water bottle to the examination room.
  • Avoid any kind of electronic items or gadgets like Calculators, Mobile phones, Watches, Tablets, etc. into the examination room. 

On the other hand, the Session 2 Exam is scheduled for 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th & 12th April, 2023. 

The JEE Main Paper 1 Exam Analysis will be made public when the exam is successfully concluded (after 12 pm).
