Recently, the NTA has revised the JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates. Accordingly, the exam will be held on 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st January & 1st February, 2023.

Dress Code for Male Candidates

  • Male students who are appearing in the examination should wear comfortable & light-weight clothes in order to avoid discomfort at the time of examination.
  • Do not wear any cloth having any metallic items. Metallic clothes generate problems & should be avoided.
  • Applicants are not allowed to wear a cap/muffler or any item over their head.
  • Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery or ornaments.
  • Applicants should not wear rings, bracelets, goggles, etc.

Dress Code for Female Candidates

  • Female students are advised not to wear any kind of dupatta or scarf.
  • Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery or ornaments.
  • Candidates should wear comfortable & light clothes keeping in mind their comfort.
  • Any cloth containing metallic will lead to problems so it should be neglected.
  • Do not wear rings, bracelets, goggles, etc.

JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Exam: Important Guidelines

  • Bring the JEE Main 2023 Admit Card while appearing for the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination gate without the admit card.
  • Along with the Admit card, carry 1 photo ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID) for verification.
  • Reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the reporting time of the examination to avoid crowding at the examination gate. 
  • Follow the Covid-19 Guidelines by wearing a face mask & hand gloves. Also, carry personal hand sanitiser and a transparent water bottle to the examination room.
  • Lastly, avoid bringing electronic items or gadgets like Calculators, Mobile phones, Watches, Tablets, etc. into the examination room. 

Candidates should follow the above-mentioned dress code & guidelines during the examination.

The examination will be conducted in 290 cities in India & 18 cities outside India.

On the other hand, the Session 2 Exam is scheduled for 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th & 12th April, 2023.
