JEE Main 2024 Student Dies By Suicide: Today, 13 February 2024, a shocking incident occurred in India’s coaching hub Kota, Rajasthan, when a 16-year-old JEE Main 2024 aspirant died by suicide in the hostel room.

The incident has raised concerns about the emerging number of suicide cases in Kota, Rajasthan as it is the fourth suicide case this year.

As per the reports, the deceased was a native of Chattisgarh, preparing for the JEE Main examination in Kota, Rajasthan for the last 2 years.

As per the reports, the deceased checked their JEE Main 2024 scores which were released on 12 February 2024, and then locked himself in his hostel room and later the deceased body was found hanging in the room.

The hostel authorities immediately informed the local police station and the police reached the location on time. Later, the police started the investigation and stated that the victim’s parents had called their ward many times but after no response, they informed the hostel’s warden about this.

Later, the body of the student was found hanging on a ceiling fan of the respective room, added the police officials.

The police also interrogated the deceased’s friends about the incident, where one of the friends stated that the student was under stress as his JEE Main 2024 score was very poor and the deceased was expecting a high score.

Police stated that this could be a reason for the suicide, whereas, no suicide note was found in the deceased’s room and the police investigation is still ongoing.

The parents of the victim have also been informed about the sad incident by the hostel authorities.

Previously, an 18-year-old girl preparing for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination also committed suicide and left a note in her room stating “Mummy Papa, I can’t do JEE so I suicide. I am a loser and worst daughter. Sorry mummy papa, yehi last option hai”.
