JEE Main 2024 Exam – Dates, Eligibility, Pattern in Brief
NTA conducts the JEE Main entrance exam every year for admission to engineering colleges across the country. The JEE Main 2024 registration for session 1 has been started from 1st November 2023 and the last day to apply is 30th November 2023.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility
Candidates interested in JEE Main 2024 application form must meet the eligibility criteria as laid down by the JEE Apex board. The minimum JEE Main 2024 eligibility requirements are as follows –
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in class 12 having physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/bio-technology subjects.
- There is no age limit to apply for JEE Main, but the year of passing the qualifying examination of candidates should be 2022, 2023, or appearing in the year 2024 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2024.
JEE Main Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2024 exam pattern comprises 90 questions in Paper I (B.E/ B.Tech) and 82 questions in Paper II A (B.Arch) and 105 questions in Paper II B (B.Planning). Paper I (B.E/ B.Tech) will be of 300 marks, Paper II A (B.Arch) and Paper II B (B.Plan) will be of total 400 marks. The candidate must note that for every correct answer, 4 marks will be given and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
