About JEE Main 2023

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) is a national Engineering exam that is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Two times a year, the JEE Mains exams are held. The exam sessions take place in January 2023 for the first session and in April 2023 for the second session.

There are two papers in the JEE (Main). For admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, Paper 1 is administered.

JEE (Main) serves as a prerequisite for JEE (Advanced), which is administered for admission to IITs. For enrollment in the nation’s B. Arch and B. Planning programmes, Paper 2 is administered.

On the day of the exam, each candidate is required to bring one hard copy of their JEE Main 2023 Admit card and one form of identification. If an applicant arrives late to the examination center or if any necessary documentation is missing, they will not be permitted to take the exam.
