The letter discusses technical issues that students encountered in both the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams last year. There are differences between certain candidates’ answer sheets and the results, as well.

What did Chidambaram Pen in His Letter

Chidambaram wrote to Drarmendra Pradhan, “I’d like to draw your attention to several issues that students who took the JEE Mains and Advanced in 2022 mentioned.

These applicants put forth a lot of effort to gain admission to the top engineering schools in India, but they were denied a fair shot at the exam by a number of obstacles that were entirely beyond their control.”

He also mentioned that several students were unable to take the exam since their exam centres had reportedly been changed at the last minute, without previous SMS or postal notification.

Chidambaram has requested the government on behalf of the students who finished their class 12 exams in 2020 because it was their final opportunity to take the JEE Main and Advanced. He has urged Pradhan to temporarily relax the eligibility criteria so that these candidates can retake the exam in 2023.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the JEE Main and Advanced 2023 exam schedule. The schedule, however, is anticipated to be made public on the official website, nta.ac.in, very soon.

Candidates are advised to visit the official website to get most recent updates related to JEE main and Advance 2023 exams.
