Cabinet Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh stated that the age groups of the children have determined how the preschool classes are categorized.
He further stated that the names of the anganwadi classes will be Nav Kadam for children aged three to four, Shishu Kadam for those aged four to five, and Bal Kadam for those aged five to six.

Cabinet Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh stated that every student who was signed up for the program will receive two T-shirts, two skirts/ pants, one pair of shoes, two pairs of socks, a workbook, an activity book, a pencil box, and a packet of crayons every year.
Further, he said that every student would be required to pay an annual fee of Rs 1,400. Whereas, in every five years, benches and desks were also provided to the anganwadi centers.
Additionally, the cabinet also decided to raise the monthly food allowance for the students attending government residential schools, such as Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and Subhas Chandra Bose Residential Schools, from Rs. 1,400 to Rs. 2,290.
Additionally, the approval to upgrade 166 high schools to plus-2 schools was also granted by the Jharkhand cabinet on 29 February 2024.
