Karnataka 9 Class Student Commits Suicide: A shocking incident occurred in the Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka where a Class 9 student committed suicide today.

Student’s constant use of a smartphone and scolding from their parents about using it too much seem to have played a big part in this tragic event, said police.

The incident happened in the Chittavalahalli village, where a 15-year school-going student committed suicide by hanging on a tree this morning on 7 Nov 2023. The story raises important questions about how much time young people spend on their phones and the pressure they get from their parents. 

As per the reports, the father wanted the victim to concentrate on the study as he was worried that his child was using the phone excessively.

They argued on Monday 6 Nov 2023 after his father raised objections about the deceased’s addiction to the smartphone. After a long argument with both of the parents, the child rushed out of the house in anger.

According to the authorities, the student was hanged on a tree in an isolated place in the village, was upset and could not handle the never-ending harsh criticism. The story raises important questions about how much time young people spend on their phones and the pressure they get from their parents.

Schools also have a part to play. They can offer counseling and teach kids about mental health. Encouraging kids to do hobbies and activities outside the phone is a good idea to help them feel better and happier.

The body of the student has been sent for a post-mortem. While the investigation is going on, to determine whether the student was under any kind of pressure, the parents of the student are also being questioned.
