National Common Entrance Test (NCET), a national-level entrance exam conducted to offer admission into 4 year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at central & state universities/institutions incl. IITs, NITs, RIEs & govt. Colleges.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be taking the responsibility to manage this examination.
The NCET 2023 Registration Process commenced on 26th June, 2023. Once the application process ends, the NCET 2023 Application Correction window will be opened from 26th to 27th July, 2023 so that the candidates can make necessary changes to the registration forms.
“The candidates are not permitted to fill more than one Registration Form. Any candidate with more than one Application number will be considered as UFM (Unfair Means), even if found at a later stage & strict action will be taken against that candidate,” reads the official notice.

How to Apply For NCET 2023
Follow the following pointers to apply for the National Common Entrance Test 2023 –
- Visit the official website – ncet.samarth.ac.in.
- You will enter the homepage of this site.
- Go through the “Register” button available on the homepage.
- First, register yourself in order to create a new user account.
- Complete the registration process by putting your basic details, email ID & phone number to create a new user account.
- Then, login using generated credentials & fill up the “NCET 2023 Registration Form” by entering the required details.
- Upload the required documents & pay the registration fees.
- Once done, press the “Submit” button.
- Download the page & take a printout of the same page for future needs.
The exam will be conducted in 13 different languages such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odoa, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu & Urdu.
As per the exam pattern, a total of 160 questions will be asked in the examination including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
The schedule of the Advance City Intimation slip, Admit Card & announcement of Result will be published on the NCET portal further.
