NDA 1 2023 Registration Begins on December 21 at upsconline.nic.in, Eligibility Criteria and Steps to Apply

NDA 1 2023 Registration: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that National Defence Academy (NDA) 2023 Session 1 registration will begin from December 21, 2022. Candidates who want to take NDA 1 exam in 2023 must only submit their applications online at upsconline.nic.in.

As per the UPSC annual calendar, NDA 1 2023 exam will be conducted on April 16, 2023 and NDA 2 will take place on September 3, 2023.

Registration process for NDA 2 2023 will begin on May 17, 2023.

Eligibility for NDA 1 2023

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age limit, and educational background in order to apply for the NDA exam 2023. Check the eligibility criteria below:

  • The age of the applicant must be between 16.5 to 19.5.
  • Only Indian students can apply for NDA exam.
  • For the Army Wing of the National Defense Academy, applicants must have completed or be enrolled in Class 12; for the Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academies, applicants must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
  • Candidates who will be in Class 12 may apply provisionally for the exam.

How to Register for NDA 1 2023

Follow the steps listed below for your convenience to register for NDA 1 2023:

  • Visit the UPSC official website at upsconline.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, go to the “What’s New” section on the site.
  • Under the same section, click on “View All” link.
  • Now click on the link that reads, “Exam Notification: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2023.”
  • I will direct you to a new page.
  • Select the “Click here” link.
  • Now click on “New Registration” tab.
  • Provide the information that is asked to generate login credentials.
  • Now login using the generated credentials.
  • Add the essential information and upload scanned copy of the necessary documents.
  • Review the information and pay the application fees.
  • Click on the “Submit” button.
  • Download and print a hardcopy of the form for your records.

There are two ways to pay the fee: online and offline. Candidates can print an e-challan for offline payment.  After the completion of the application process, a link to the NDA form 2023 withdrawal will be activated at the official website.
