NEET PG 2023 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Post Graduate) is an entrance test held to offer admissions into several PG-level medical & dental programmes at different universities. It is managed by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi.

The NEET PG 2023 Exam Dates are announced & the authority has kept the internship deadline as 31st March, 2023.

As per the information bulletin, the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) stated that the eligibility deadline makes the majority of present interns ineligible to appear in NEET PG Exam. Therefore, FORDA is requesting to extend the NEET PG 2023 Internship deadline. Also, the NEET UG 2023 Exam Dates are announced.

Meanwhile, the NEET PG 2023 Application Forms are underway. The last date to register for the same will be 27th January, 2023. Candidates who have not registered yet can register now from the official website.

Those who are taking part in NEET PG are required to complete their internship before the deadline in order to get eligible for the exam. This year, the deadline leads to making 50% of interns ineligible.

Earlier, FORDA wrote a letter to the Union Health Minister urging him to look into the condition & extend the internship deadline.

FORDA tweeted “Urgent action needed! FORDA calls for the postponement of the NEET PG 2023 eligibility deadline to save the interests of Indian interns. The current interns are deemed ineligible in history!”

50% of the interns across the country have become ineligible for the NEET PG 2023 Exam. “Approximately 75% of interns in Maharashtra are not eligible for the exam. The special stray vacancy round of counselling started on 6th January, 2023 still underway”.
