This change involves the introduction of mandatory time-bound sections within the question paper. The purpose of this new system is to prevent potential mistakes during the examination procedure, thereby improving the security and integrity of the exams.
NBEMS Official Notice Important Points
The question paper will be divided into multiple sections, each with a specific time limit. For example, NEET-PG 2024 might have five sections with 40 questions each and a time limit of 42 minutes per section.
Candidates cannot proceed to the next section until they complete the allotted time for the previous section. This means finishing all questions or skipping them within the designated timeframe.
Once the time for a section is over, candidates cannot review or modify their answers for that section. However, they can mark any question for review within the allotted time and revisit it before the section ends.
Candidates are unable to go back and edit their responses for a section once the allotted time has elapsed. All questions can be marked for review, though, and they can go back to them before the section ends if they choose to.
Adapting test-taking strategies is required due to this new format. To ensure they complete every section, candidates must put time management first, possibly sacrificing in-depth analysis for some questions.
