The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has announced that they will be organizing a mock or practice test for the National Exit Test (NExT) on behalf of the National Medical Commission (NMC) on the 28th of July 2023.

The NExt Mock Exam 2023 aims to provide final-year MBBS students with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern and gain valuable experience before the actual NExT Exam 2023.

The process consists of three sequential stages, starting with the registration and basic candidate information. After successful registration, candidates will receive an exam unique code (EUC) necessary for the completion of the application for the mock/practice test.

To complete the application for the NExT mock/practice test, candidates are required to pay an application fee. General/OBC candidates need to submit ₹2,000, while SC, ST, and EWS applicants are required to pay ₹1,000.

However, persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the exam fee, providing equal opportunities to all individuals.

Steps to Apply for NExt Mock Exam 2023

By following these steps, you will have successfully applied for the NExT Mock Exam 2023:

  1. Go to the official AIIMS website aiimsexams.ac.in.
  2. Click on the “Mock/Practice Test of National Exit Test (NExT)” button under the “Important Notifications” column on the website.
  3. On clicking the button, you will be redirected to a new webpage. On this page, you need to register and create an account. 
  4. Provide the necessary information, including a username, password, and the Examination Unique Code (EUC) that was given to you.
  5. After successfully registering and creating an account, log in using your username and password.
  6. Once logged in, you can access the application form for the NExT Mock Test.
  7. Fill out the form with accurate details as per the provided instructions.
  8. Review the form before submitting it to ensure all information is correct.

The NExT mock exam 2023 will be a computer-based test conducted in a single day through the territories of India. This mock/practice exam will be held in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 lasts three hours and is scheduled from (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m). Paper 2 will last 3.5 hours, from (2:30 PM to 6:00 PM).

It provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring medical professionals to assess their knowledge and understand the exam’s structure and requirements. By participating in the mock test, candidates can identify their strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to focus on specific areas for further improvement.
