NMDC Recruitment 2023: Notification Released for 193 Apprentice Posts

NMDC Recruitment 2023: The National Mineral Development Corporation, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India has released an official notification regarding NMDC Recruitment 2023. A total of 193 Apprenticeship positions have been listed for the eligible candidates. All the necessary information regarding the NMDC Recruitment have been mentioned below.

Candidates must download the notification by visiting the official website www.nmdc.co.in and read the information thoroughly. There is no application procedure as the eligible candidates will have to appear for a direct walk-in interview before the concerned panel. NMDC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

It is very important for the candidates to know the eligibility criteria before applying online for the various posts. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• The candidates must have completed full-time ITI in the respective Trade and completed the same in the last three years (not before 2020)
• The upper age limit of candidates should lie between 18 years to 28 years as on 1st April 2023. However, an upper age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India guidelines for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories
• It is mandatory for the Trade Apprentice candidates to register themselves with the NAPS portal, whereas for the Diploma and Graduate Apprentice candidate, registration is mandatory with NATS portal.

Candidates must note that whose “contract ID” has already been created in line with the Apprenticeship Act 1961, during their apprenticeship training at some other organisations shall not eligible to apply for the NMDC Recruitment 2023.

Interview Timings and Venue

Eligible candidates must take note of the interview timings and venue. The interview will be a walk-in.face-to-face and not in an online mode. Hence, candidates need to make prior arrangements accordingly:

• Interview Timings: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Interview Venue: Baila Club and Training Institute, B.I.O.M, Kirandul Complex, Kirandul, Dist. Dist- Dantewada (C.G.)- 494556.

Documents Required

For the purpose of registration, candidates must carry with themselves the following docuemnts:

• Bio-data
• Latest passport size photograph – 02
• Date of Birth Proof/Class 10th Pass Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

All the documents should be in original form. A self-attested copy of the original documents shall also be required. Furthermore, suppression of information will lead to cancellation of the candidature.

General Instructions for the Candidates

• The candidature would be provisional in nature and subject to subsequent verification of certificates & testimonials.
• It is only an opportunity for getting trained for improving employability of the candidates and there is no scope for employment in NMDC, after completion of apprenticeship training nor can an apprentice can claim the right of employment on the grounds of completion of apprenticeship.
• The duration of training will be one year from the date of contract creation and the contract would be terminated automatically after completion of apprenticeship training period. As per the contract, the shortlisted candidates will not demand for employment after the completion of the apprenticeship.
• Shortlisted candidates must note that the stipend amount will be in accordance with the Apprenticeship Act of 1961. Furthermore, on selection the candidates will have to arrange for lodging and fooding on their own. NMDC shall not take any responsibilities in such matters.
