Noida & Lucknow Schools Closed till 6 Jan: The schools in Noida and Lucknow remain closed for 4 days from today 3 January 2024 due to the cold waves, order released by the government. The school will continue for the students of classes 9th to 12th in Noida.

The district administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar has ordered the closure of schools in Noida for classes up to 8th till January 6, 2024. Earlier the schools in Noida were closed for all classes on 29 and 30 Dec, 2023 due to the same reason.

Similarly, the order was issued by the District Education Officer, Ram Pravesh for the schools in Lucknow for classes 1 to 8 will remain closed until January 6, 2024, due to winter waves.

Government Statements On Noida & Lucknow Schools Closure

“Due to severe cold and dense fog, schools from nursery to 8th grade will be closed until Jan 6, 2024. This applies to all recognized boards and should be strictly followed”, the district administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar made this announcement on Tuesday. The classes from 9th to 12th will be held between 10 am to 3 pm, as per the order.

“You are aware that a cold wave is currently affecting the entire state, including the Lucknow district, it is extremely cold. In compliance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, you are hereby ordered to ensure that all children from pre-primary to class 8 are granted leave until January 6, 2024”, said by government of Lucknow.

The Chief Minister’s office in Haryana has also announced that all government and private schools in the state will remain closed from January 1 to January 15, 2024. This winter vacation has been declared in view of the increasing cold.
