Odisha Board Exam Pattern, Shift Timing, Other Details

The new class 10 pattern, according to the Odisha board, would consist of a total of six examinations, comprising two summative assessments (SAs) and four formative assessments (FAs).

The students are currently taking the FA-III exam and will take the FA-IV exam in February, according to BSE President Ramashis Hajra, who spoke here on Thursday. The students have already taken the FA-I, FA-II, and SA-I exams.

“Fixed percentage of marks drawn from all the six assessment examinations would add up to determine a student’s final result,” Ramashis Hajra, BSE’s president said in a statement to PTI.

He added that the Class 10 students’ final exam, which will take place from March 10 to March 17, will be termed as Summative Assessment II (SA-II).

The board also revealed on that day that the SA-II would be held at the same examination centres where students took the SA-I exams in November of last year, which was a huge relief for both students and their parents.

According to Hajra, the board also chose to keep the same question paper format for the SA-II as it did for the SA-I.

According to past patterns of Odisha board, shift 1 exam will run from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and shift 2 will begin at 2:00 pm and continue till 4:30 pm.
