Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 Highlights

Here are the key points discussed by PM Modi during the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 –

  • Students should not use unfair means or any kind of cheat during the board examinations. “Some students use their skill & creativity for ‘cheating’ in examinations. Instead, if those students use their time & creativity in a good way they will achieve heights of success. We should never choose shortcuts in life.” PM Modi interacts.
  • Students should work hard but smartly. PM Modi explains hard work & smart work by reciting an example of a mechanic. The PM said that once a person’s car broke down. He kept pushing the car for hours & it would not start. He called a mechanic who recycled the car in 2 minutes & asked for Rs. 200. The person asked how Rs. 200 for only 2 minutes works. In reply, the mechanic said Rs. 200 is not for 2 minutes but for 20 years of experience.”
  • Students should handle criticism positively. There is a very thin line between criticism & obstruction. However, the important thing is to consider who is criticizing you. Parents & friends should criticise their children in a positive way as their intention is to make you better in life.
  • Students should also learn & practice regional languages. PM Modi encouraged students to learn regional languages. “Tamil is the oldest language in the world & we should be proud of it. All Indians should learn a few vocabularies of other regional languages to promote diversity” Modi said.
