Rajasthan Schools in Khanua amid cold weather, Immediate Closure Announced

Khanua Rajasthan School Updates: The Chief Block Education Officer Naresh Sharma took a surprise inspection visit to the private schools in the area of gram panchayat Khanua, Rajasthan. 

In this surprise visit, Naresh Sharma discovered that some schools in the areas of Khanua were still conducting classes in the school in cold weather. 

On 23 December 2023, the government announced the Rajasthan school holidays as the state was experiencing extreme cold waves from 25 December 2023 onwards. 

Going against the order, some of the private schools held classes for the students. Naresh Sharma took action and ordered to immediate shutdown of the schools, as per Dainik Bhaskar’s report. 

Rajasthan School Holidays

As per the education officer’s order, the schools in Rajasthan have been announced holiday for 13 days. The schools will remain closed from 25 December 2023 to 5 January 2024. 

However, if the temperature in the state continues to drop by 5 January 2024 the government may extend the school holidays. 

The Uttar Pradesh District Magistrate Archana Verma has also announced that the schools in UP will remain closed on 28 and 29 December 2023 due to thick fog. 

Also, the school timings in Uttar Pradesh have been revised by the government, as per the revised schedule the classes for grades 1 to 8 will now be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
