SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2023: The Steel Authority of India Limited has released a notification regrading the apprentice opportunities for candidates belonging to the ITI background. Interested and eligible candidates must fill the online application form before 29th April, 2023. SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2023 has been released for 239 posts.

Eligibility Criteria

It is very important for the candidates to know the eligibility criteria before applying online for the various posts. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• The candidates must have completed full-time ITI in the respective Trade and completed the same in the last three years (not before 2020)
• The upper age limit of candidates should lie between 18 years to 28 years as on 1st April 2023. However, an upper age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India guidelines for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories

Candidates must note that whose “contract ID” has already been created in line with the Apprenticeship Act 1961, during their apprenticeship training at some other organisations shall not eligible to apply for the SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2023.

SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2023 Important Dates

Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained during their ITI course period. Yes, there will be no written test for the candidates. The authorities have mentioned the important selection criteria, which is as follows:

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained during ITI, in the specified category & trade.
• In case there is a tie between the applicants in their aggregate marks, the older candidate will be given the preference as per the reference date of filling the online application form.

Training Duration

The duration of training will be one year from the date of contract creation and the contract would be terminated automatically after completion of apprenticeship training period. As per the contract, the shortlisted candidates will not demand for employment after the completion of the apprenticeship.

SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2023 Stipend Amount

Shortlisted candidates must note that the stipend amount will be Rs. 7,000 – 7,700/- per month which is in accordance with the Apprenticeship Act of 1961. Furthermore, on selection the candidates will have to arrange for lodging and fooding on their own. SAIL IISCO shall not take any responsibilities in such matters.

• This is only an opportunity for getting trained for improving employability of the candidates and there is no scope for employment in SAIL – ISP, Burnpur after completion of apprenticeship training nor can an apprentice can claim the right of employment on the grounds of completion of apprenticeship.
