Aspirants who hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the central government or CA qualifications are considered eligible.

Those who belong to the general category are permitted four attempts, while those in the general (PWD) and OBC (PWD) categories are allowed up to seven attempts. It is important to note that there is no limit on the number of attempts for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.

The minimum and maximum age requirements for candidates are 21 and 30 years respectively, with a relaxation of 3 to 5 years for reserved categories as per guidelines.

A total of 2,000 vacancies are available for the position of probationary officers. The application fee for the General/OBC/EWS category is Rs. 750, while it is free of cost for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.
