UGC to launch 4 Swayam MOOCs courses on 6th February – The UGC to launch 4 Swayam MOOCs courses on 6th February, 2023, said UGC Chairman, Professor M.Jagadesh Kumar.

The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will be based on the History of Indian Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, Abhidhamma (Pali) & community Engagement & Social Responsibility.

As per the UGC’s tweet, these programmes will start on 6th February & will conclude on 23rd May, 2023. The courses will be managed by the University for Buddhist Courses, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies.

SWAYAM also known as Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds is a platform which provides on-line courses & certification programmes. It is launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

It is open for all who want to learn either teachers, students, professionals or anyone. The platform contains a wide range of courses such as engineering, science, humanities, management & more. The courses are taught by experienced staff from the best Indian institutions.

SWAYAM is an excellent platform for those who aspire to grow their education & learn new skills. It has been designed to make education affordable & beneficial to many people in the country.

This platform also permits students to interact with their mentors, appear in online classes & receive certificates after the completion of their courses. It aims at providing quality education which can be accessed from anywhere, anytime & at a very low cost.

Earlier, the NTA organised the SWAYAM (January Session) 2022 Examination from 29th & 30th August, 2022.
