The UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Recruitment Drive aims to fill up a total of 322 vacancies for the Assistant Commandants (Group A) posts incl. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) & Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

As per the schedule, the commission will organize the written examination on 6th August, 2023. It will consist of two papers – Paper I & Paper II. Paper I will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm & paper II will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

As per the official notice, candidates can apply for the UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2023 till 16th May, 2023. The candidates will not be permitted to withdraw their applications once after submission of the same.

Candidates need to apply online by logging into the UPSC’s official portal. They need to register first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform & then move forward to fill the application form.

OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be accessed anytime throughout the year. If anyone is already registered, he/she can directly proceed for filling up the application form.

However, the e-Admission Certificates will be issued three weeks before the commencement of the examination on the UPSC’s official portal. No admission certificate will be sent by post.

Candidates must ensure the following eligibility norms in order to be eligible for the UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2023 –

• Nationality – Candidates must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan OR a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Age Limit – Candidates must between 20 to 25 years of age as on 1st August, 2023. However, age relaxation has been provided for the reserved candidates.
• Education Qualification – Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from any reputed university/institution.
