IISC Bengaluru has started GATE 2024 registration on 30 August. Candidates interested in pursuing a master's degree course must appear in the exam.
After qualifying GATE exam, one is eligible to pursue master's or direct doctoral programs in Engineering, Science, Technology, Architecture or humanities.
As GATE registration is commencing soon, here is the list of important documents that you have to prepare while filling GATE application form.
A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph as per the given specifications in the official brochure.
A high-quality image of the candidate’s Signature as per the given specifications in the official brochure.
A qualifying degree's mark sheet is required. In the case of candidates who are currently in their final year, they should provide the mark sheet from the previous year.
A scanned copy of a valid Photo ID proof such as Aadhar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License is mandatory
A scanned copy of the category certificate (SC/ST) duly signed by a competent authority will be required to claim reservation or concession in fees.
A scanned copy of the PwD Certificate in pdf format issued by a competent authority will be required for candidates claiming PwD status.
Dyslexic Candidates have to submit a scanned copy of the certificate of Dyslexia in PDF format.
Candidates must note that the photo ID must have the Name, DOB of the candidate and unique photo ID number. This photo ID must be carried in original to the examination hall for verification.
