B.Sc Nursing is one of the popular medical courses among medical aspirants, who want to work as registered nurses (RNs) or Nursing Officers in top institutions like AIIMS, PGIMER etc.
Here we are listing some of the popular entrance exams which you must appear to pursue B.Sc Nursing in India.
AIIMS conducts separate entrance exams for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic), and M.Sc Nursing courses. The application form is available at www.aiimsexams.ac.in
The NEET UG exam is also considered by various state & central universities/institutes for admission to B.Sc Nursing courses. Registration for NEET will commence in Feb/March.
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) also conducts an entrance exam for M.Sc Nursing courses. For admission to a B.Sc Nursing course, NEET score is required.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) conducts an entrance exam for B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) courses.
IGNOU conducts the OPENNET exam for admission to its 2-year B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) program. Registration starts in March every year at www.ignou.ac.in.
Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) admission to its B.Sc Nursing course is conducted through NEET UG Exam.
King George's Medical University (KGMU) conducts an entrance exam for B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) courses.
WBJEE Board conducts a 2-year ANM & 3 years GNM course for admission to colleges/institutes in the State of West Bengal.
Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) conducts an entrance exam for admission to B.Sc Nursing courses in various nursing colleges of Rajasthan.
