Delhi Schools To Remain Closed For Three Days: The Delhi government has announced a public holiday for government/private schools of Delhi for three days because the G20 Summit is going to be conducted in September.

While the Delhi schools will be completely closed from September 8 to September 10, 2023, the colleges/universities have also suggested that they can also conduct online classes if they want to.

The Chief Minister wants everything to be safe and peaceful during the Summit. He wants all the people who come to Delhi to be safe and not have any problems. That’s why he decided to close schools and even some offices. The Chief Minister said that people can work from home if their office allows it.

Why the government has closed Delhi schools?

The G20 Summit is going to be conducted in the month of September, a meeting where 14 leaders of international organizations come together and talk about things like money and how countries work together.

This time, it will happen at a place called Bharat Mandapam Convention Center in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The main program will be held on 9 and 10 September. Because of this, schools and colleges in Delhi will be closed for these three days.
