When Will MCC NEET 2025 Counselling Begin?

NEET Update: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the authority to conduct the NEET UG counselling. Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2025 are eligible to take part for this session.

Counselling for NEET will be held for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, MBBS/BDS admissions across central universities.

NTA released the NEET UG 2025 result on 14th June 2025. This year, for NEET 22,09,318 candidates appeared, and out of them 12,36,531 have cleared the examination for the 2025–26 academic session.

In which month does NEET counselling start?

For this session, the result of NEET is on hold for a few affected candidates, which can maybe cause a little delay in the counselling session. Once the results for affected candidates are out, the official announcement regarding the counselling will be made.

The counselling will be conducted online at the MCC website i.e mcc.nic.in . There will be three 3-seat allotment rounds and one online stray vacancy round for all India quota/deemed universities/central universities (MBBS/BDS/ B.Sc Nursing).

NEET UG counselling 2025 is expected to start in the first or second week of August 2025. The mode of counselling will be only online. The process of NEET counselling includes registration > fee payment > choice filling > seat allotment > result > and reporting to the allotted college.

How To Register For NEET Counselling

Follow the steps given below to apply for NEET UG counselling:

• Visit the MCC NEET website.
• On the homepage, click on “UG Medical” option.
• You will be taken to a new page.
• Scroll down to “candidate activity board” section.
• Look for counselling registration link.
• Click and enter the required details.
• NEET counselling registration form will appear on the screen.
• Fill out the form and pay the fees.
• Attach the required documents & submit the form.
• Download the confirmation page for further use.
