In India, each state’s department of education supervises the conduct of board exams for students in grades 10 and 12, using a different syllabus and grading scheme known as the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher School Certificate (HSC).

Many state boards and NIOS are yet to release the datesheet for their respective state board exams that will be conducted in 2023.

Students who will be taking the board exams this year must follow the instructions given by the respective board examination conducting authority to avoid last-minute hustle. Students should avoid carrying any prohibited items like a digital watch, maps, mobile phones, etc.

A few boards allow students to carry calculators during examinations; only those students shall carry their personal calculator. Borrowing any stationery items or calculators will not be allowed.
