UGC NET 2023 Result & Cut off Soon, Here’s how to calculate Category-Wise marks

UGC NET 2023 December Cut-Off Marks Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the UGC NET 2023 December session exam from 6 to 14 December 2023 and will release the result and cut-off marks anytime soon. 

Candidates can check the UGC NET 2023 December session cut-off marks and results on the official website of NTA i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in, once available.

The UGC NET December 2023 cut-off marks are made available category-wise. The applicants must score above the minimum cut-off marks to pass the examination. 

As per the previous year’s records, the qualifying mark for the UGC NET exam for general category candidates is 40% and for the reserved category, the cut-off mark is 35%.

Here are some points to keep in mind while calculating the UGC NET December 2023 cut-off marks:

1. Number of candidates qualifying the UGC NET 2023 December exam will be equal to 6% of the total test-takers who appeared in both the papers i.e. Assistance Professor and JRF.
2. The total slots left will be divided into different categories of candidates as per the reserved policy of the Government of India. 
3. The aggregate marks obtained by candidates in both papers will be compared and based on the comparison the cut-off marks will be determined.
